Women's Tennis Travels to Wisconsin for Matches with Carthage and Carroll

| Box Score 2 The Millikin women's tennis team traveled to Wisconsin on Friday, October 4 for matches with Carthage and Carroll to continue their College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin campaign.

After falling to Carthage 0-7 on Friday, the Big Blue made their way to Waukesha for a matchup with Carroll on Saturday, October 5.

The doubles team of Emily Markus and Cristina Borunda put up a fight against Natasa Pupovac and Katherine Trifilio, but ultimately fell 3-6. In singles play, Markus won her first set 6-4 and was up 2-0 in the second set when Pupovac retired.

Kaitlyn Mullins was the victor at No. 3 singles, downing Gracie Nebler 6-2, 6-4.

Millikin fell 2-5 to the Pioneers.They will be back in action when they travel to Wheaton, Ill. on Saturday, October 12.
