Women's Volleyball Remains in Top Ten of AVCA Poll

The Big Blue women's volleyball team picked up a win over Elmhurst last week in a 3-0 contest, and despite a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin loss to Illinois Wesleyan, they remained in the top ten of the American Volleyball Coaches Association / Taraflex poll released Tuesday, October 8.

Millikin's 18-3 record kept them in the #10 slot on the AVCA poll, falling two slots from last week's #8 position. They travel to Wheaton, Ill. for a matchup with Wheaton College on Wednesday, October 9. They'll meet Calvin, Baldwin Wallace, and Swarthmore over the weekend when they travel to Michigan.

Juniata remained atop the poll, with Hope, Johns Hopkins, MIT, and Wisconsin-Whitewater making up the rest of the top five.
