Millikin’s Olmstead Headed to NCAA Championships

DECATUR, Illinois—For the third straight season, Millikin graduate student Bradyn Olmstead (Bloomington, H.S.) has qualified for the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships to be held on November 23 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
 
Olmstead was selected after finishing in 14th at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional on Saturday with an 8K time of 24.59.4. Olmstead broke his own school record in the 8K at the recent College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championships with a time of 24:39.1. The 14th place this season is Olmstead's top finish in an NCAA Regional.
 
After qualifying for the NCAA Championships in 2022 and 2023, Olmstead will compete this year at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center in Terre Haute, Indiana.
The Championships are being hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with the men's race scheduled for 12 p.m. ET.
A live web stream of the championships will occur on NCAA.com beginning at 11 a.m. Eastern time until the conclusion of the awards ceremony.
