Millikin Opens Indoor Track Season

The Millikin men's and women's track team opened the 2024-25 Indoor Track and Field season competing at the Titan First Chance Meet hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois on December 7.

In the women's competition, Millikin first year sprinter De'Andranay Chism and a record setting collegiate debut. Chism won the 60 Meters in a school record time of 7.67 seconds. Chism repeated her record setting performance winning the 200 Meters in 24.82 setting another Big Blue Indoor Track record.

Zena Roberts finished third in Long Jump at 5.30 meters (17-4.75).

In the men's events, defending Division III National Champion Kyle Hensley won the Pole Vault at 4.75 meters (15-7.00). Cory Cebulski was second at 4:15 meters (13-7.25)

Emmanual Nwatu finished second in the 60 Meter Hurdles in 8:57.

Colin Griffin finished third in the 60 Meters in 7.02 seconds and third in the 200 Meters in 22.77 seconds.

Aaron Mohr was third in the 600 Meters in 1:29.87.

Matt Gowen was third in the 3000 Meters in 9:42.05.
