Millikin Baseball Falls to Titans

The Millikin baseball lost to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh 5-1 on March 16 at the Workman Family Baseball Field.
 
Millikin opened the scoring in the bottom of the fourth with a Tommy Shaw home run. Shaw had two hits for the Big Blue. Sam Bushur led the Millikin offense going 3-4.
 
The Titans broke open the game with a five run fifth inning. Carter Stebane had a two-run single for Wisconsin Oshkosh. Nick Shiu, Braydon Skenadore and Owen Housinger each had RBI singles.
 
Connor Brinkman was the winning pitcher for the Titans throwing all nine innings allowing seven hits and striking out 11.
 
Millikin is now 7-7 while Oshkosh goes to 5-5.
 
The Big Blue will play Benedictine University on Sunday at 2 p.m.
