Women's Swimming Named Spring Academic All-America Team by CSCAA

The Big Blue women's swim team was named a Scholar All-America team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the Spring 2024 semester. There were 722 teams representing a total of 17,162 student-athletes were chosen based on their outstanding academic performance during the Spring of 2024. To qualify for the prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0. The Big Blue were one of 563 teams to earn a GPA higher than 3.3.

Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the outstanding achievements, stating, "The commitment to academic excellence shown by these teams is truly admirable. It's inspiring to see student-athletes excelling both in the pool and in their studies. The CSCAA takes great pride in acknowledging and celebrating the dedication and perseverance of these teams."

The Millikin women notched a 3.53 overall team GPA in the Spring 2024 semester to earn the honors.
