Football Suffers Road Loss

The Millikin football team lost 44-0 at North Park University in Chicago on September in the opener of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) season.
 
The Vikings scored 14 points in each of the first three quarters to take control of the game. Millikin only managed 97 yards of total offense while allowing 460.
 
North Park quarterback Matt Eck was 16-22 passing for 264 yards and three touchdowns.
 
Millikin punter Lucas Mosqueda had a solid day punting with a 39 yard average including a long of 57. Mosqueda dropped two punts inside the North Park 20 yard line.
 
Qowiyu Amuda had six tackles for Millikin including one tackle for a loss. Omarion Ammons had three tackles for a loss with a total of five tackles.
 
Millikin returns home on September 28 to host Augustana College at 1 p.m. during Millikin's Homecoming celebration.
