Millikin Women’s Soccer Remains Unbeaten

The Millikin women's soccer team improved to 7-0-1 on the season with a 5-0 win over Principia College on September 21 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
 
Millikin dominated the game out shooting the Panthers 19-3. The Big Blue scored three first half goals. Senior Kelsey Jacobs scored Millikin's first goal in the fourth minute with the assist going to Lila Castillo Burgess. Castillo Burgees scored in the 25th minute for Millikin's second goal. Hallie Schafman closed out the first period scoring with a goal off an assist from Grace Pelz.
 
Millikin added two more scores in the second period with goals going to Kameron Zurzolo and senior Alyssa Analitis. Payton Dominguez earned an assist on the fourth goal.
 
Madalyn Everly recorded the shutout in goal with two saves.
