The Millikin Women's Soccer team traveled to North Central on Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. matchup against the Cardinals. The Big Blue battled hard but ultimately fell by a score of 4–1.
North Central took control early, scoring three goals in the first half, one of which came off an own goal by Millikin. The Big Blue responded in the second half when Mia Brown fired a low shot to the right side at the 55:45 mark, assisted by Payton Dominguez. It was Brown's first goal of the season and Dominguez's fifth assist, highlighting her continued presence as a key playmaker for Millikin.
North Central added one final goal in the 84th minute (84:57) to close out the match.
Millikin Women's Soccer will look to bounce back in conference play when they travel to face Wheaton College on Saturday, October 18th.
