The Millikin University men's soccer team battled on the road Wednesday afternoon, falling 5–2 to the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater in non-conference action at Robert W. Fiskum Field.

After trailing 4–0 at halftime, the Big Blue came alive in the second half with two goals. Kyle Borcherding got Millikin on the board in the 69th minute off an assist from Kyle Grasse, while Bryce Davis added his team-leading eighth goal of the season in the 82nd minute on a setup from Javan Grooms.

Millikin totaled 10 shots, including five on goal, with Grasse leading the attack with four shots and three on target. Goalkeepers Christian Smith and Joshua Garrett combined for 10 saves in the match.

Millikin is now 5–9–1 on the season and will return home on Saturday, October 25, to host their next matchup at Frank M. Lindsay Field.
