Millikin Women Fall at Carroll

The Millikin University women's basketball team lost at second place Carroll University 86-74 in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) match-up in Waukesha, Wisconsin on February 2.
 
Carroll controlled the game leading 19-14 at the end of the first quarter and 37-29 at halftime. The Pioneers shot 59 percent (30-51) from the field while Millikin shot 45 percent (27-60).  Millikin was 10-21 from three-point range.
The Big Blue won the rebounding battle 33-28.
 
Matayia Tellis led Millikin with 21 points followed by Kyleigh Block with 12 and Nikkel Johnson with 10.
 
Olivia Rangel led Carroll with 25 points followed by Natalie Gricius with 19.
 
Millikin is now 7-13, 6-5 while Carroll improves to 14-5, 9-1.
