Millikin Women’s Basketball Falls at Elmhurst

In a game moved up a day due to the forecasted snow storm for Wednesday, The Millikin women's basketball team lost at Elmhurst University 80-60 on Feb. 11 in Elmhurst, Illinois.
 
Millikin struggled to find its offensive rhythm all night long shooting 34 percent (23-67) from the field. Elmhurst connected on 56 percent (33-59) from the field. Millikin won the rebounding battle 41-35.
 
Emily Brenneisen led Millikin with 12 points and a team high eight rebounds. Emily White added 12 points and Matayia Tellis scored 10 points with six rebounds and five steals.
 
Sierra Gibson led Elmhurst with 23 points followed by Rowan Cusack with 15.
 
Millikin is now 8-14, 7-6 while Elmhurst improves to 13-8, 5-8.
