#4 Illinois Wesleyan Overpowers Millikin Women

The Millikin women's basketball team lost at fourth ranked and College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) leader Illinois Wesleyan 83-52 on February 15 in Bloomington, Illinois.
 
Illinois Wesleyan controlled the game from the start and led 54-16 at halftime after holding the Big Blue to six second quarter points. The Titans shot 44 percent (31-66) from the field while Millikin made 31 percent (20-65) of its shots.
 
Millikin's top scorer was Nikkel Johnson with 16 points and seven rebounds. Emily White added 10 points.
 
Mallory Powers led the Titans with 18 points followed by Lauren Huber with 17.
 
Illinois Wesleyan improves to 22-1, 13-1 while Millikin falls to 8-15, 7-7.
