Thomann earns CCIW All-Conference Honors

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin announced their 2024-25 recipients of All-Conference accolades on Monday, February 24. Lane Thomann was named a second team recipient after leading the Big Blue in scoring in his first year at Millikin.

The sophomore from Mackinaw, Ill. averaged 16.8 points in CCIW play and 4.7 rebounds. He notched 24 assists, 12 steals, and five blocks within conference play. Thomann shot an impressive 51.4% from the field, going 90-for-175, and was a 45.6% three point shooter in the 2024-25 season with 26 makes.

Anthony Lewis was named Millikin's RESPECT Award winner. The CCIW RESPECT award is presented at the conclusion of every sports season with each varsity program recognizing one student-athlete. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture.
