Millikin Baseball Downs Eagles

The Millikin baseball team defeated the Benedictine University Eagles 11-3 on February 24 at the Workman Family Baseball Field in Decatur, Illinois.
 
The Big Blue scored singles runs in each of the first three innings to take a 3-2 advantage. Leading 4-1, Millikin broke open the game with five runs in the sixth inning and two in the seventh.
 
Senior Liam McGill battled leadoff for Millikin and paced the offense going 5-6 scoring with a double and triple and scored four runs. Tyler Gade, Sam Bushur and Elliott Fulscher each had two hits. Bushur and Hayden Stork each had three RBI. Danny Lack drove in a pair of runs.
 
Brennan Fisher led the Eagles with three hits.
