Millikin Baseball Wins at Greenville

The Millikin baseball team scored a 15-9 win at Greenville University in Greenville, Illinois on March 19 in a game that saw its started delayed by weather.
 
Millikin took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first but fell behind as Greenville scored two runs in the third and five runs in the fourth. Trailing 7-1, the Big Blue broke through for with an eight run fifth inning to take the lead for good at 9-7. Millikin added three in the sixth and single runs in each of the seventh, eighth and ninth innings. Greenville completed the scoring with a single run in the ninth.
 
Sam Bushur led Millikin with going 4-5 including a fifth inning grand slam. Bushur scored three runs. The Big Blue had four players collect three hits each in the game including Liam McGill, Kolby Koslofski, Andy Niebrugge and Elliot Fulscher. Hayden Stork had two hits. Tyler Gade and Fulscher each had two RBI.
 
Markus Isaiah led Greenville with three hits.
 
Millikin is now 9-7 and will host Illinois College on Sunday, March 23 at 12 p.m.
