Big Blue Fall to Gorlocks

The Millikin baseball team lost to Webster University 9-4 at the Grizzlies Ballpark in Sauget, Illinois on April 10.
 
The Gorlocks took control of the game early with a two-run second inning followed by a four-run third inning. Millikin posted a single run in the fourth and three runs in the eighth.
 
Andy Niebrugge homered in the fourth to get Millikin on the board. Sam Bushur doubled home the first run in the eighth followed by a sacrifice fly from Eliot Fulscher and a run scoring single from Hayden Stork. Niebrugge had two hits in the game.
 
Evan Evola led Webster with three hits. Ryan Hertz had two hits including a home run and drove in three.
 
Millikin is now 12-14 while Webster improves to 22-6.
