Men's Tennis Falls to Carroll on Senior Day

The Big Blue men's tennis celebrated their seniors on Saturday, April 12 in a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin matchup. In a tightly contested match, the Big Blue fell in a 3-4 match. 

In doubles play, the Big Blue claimed the point with Theodor Wolf and Cole Phillips defeating Daniel Ezcurra and Adrian Gomez at No. 1 6-0 and Clayton Maack and Matthew Kordesh earning the same result at No. 2 against Andrew LaBelle and Felix Persson. 

In singles play, Phillips downed LaBelle 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3, and Kordesh earned the win at No. 4 over Jack McCaffrey 6-1, 7-6 (7-5).

Maack and Wolf were each defeated in three sets.

Millikin will be back in action on Thursday, April 17 when they meet Greenville University in Greenville, Ill.
