The Millikin women's tennis team celebrated senior day on Friday, April 18, meeting Elmhurst in a play-in match to be the eight seed in the upcoming College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin women's tennis championships that will take place starting Thursday, April 25. With both squads having just four players apiece, the Big Blue won the shorthanded match in just singles, 3-0.

Emily Markus took the victory at No. 1, defeating Anna Sophia Stone 6-2, 6-0. Then, fellow senior Kaitlyn Mullins defeated Chloe Webb at No. 2, 6-0, 6-2. Addi Ross completed the match with her 6-0, 6-4 win over Asam Hasan at No. 3.

Millikin advances to the opening round of the CCIW Tournament where they'll meet top-seeded North Central in a 9:00 AM match on Thursday, April 24.
