Chism named CCIW Women’s Track Athlete of the Week

NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) selected its Women's Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week on Wednesday for competitions scheduled between Monday, April 14 and Sunday, April 20.

Track: De'Andranay Chism, Millikin, Freshman (Belleville, Ill.)
Chism was the first-place finisher in the 200 meters at the Augustana Meet of Champions last weekend. Her time of 23.94 seconds was a Millikin record, fastest in the CCIW and second on the national outdoor list in 2025.

Field: Charlotte Frere, Augustana, Junior (Preemption, Ill.)
Frere's discus throw of 52.7 meters at the Augustana Meet of Champions was the fourth-best mark in Division III. She won the event and topped the second-best throw in Division III this season by more than 2.5 meters.
