Millikin women's soccer played their second game of the season Saturday night at Frank M. Lindsay Field, battling Simpson College to a scoreless draw. It was a gritty effort from start to finish, with the Big Blue showing toughness on both ends of the field. 

Millikin showed strong organization defensively while pushing forward with energy in the attack, keeping the pressure on Simpson throughout the match. Along with freshman Jessica Bearley making key saves to keep Simpson off the scoreboard. The Big Blue continue to build early-season momentum with two home games under their belt.  

Millikin will be back in action on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. when they host Monmouth College at Frank M. Lindsay Field. Fans can follow all the action this fall at athletics.millikin.edu and on Millikin Athletics' social media channels.
