Millikin Men's Swimming competed Thursday at the CCIW Championships, turning in strong performances against conference competition. The Big Blue currently sit 6th in the team standings.

In relay action, Millikin placed 5th in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:30.59, as Gavin Dobson, Ridge Batchelor, Msanaa Bosland, and Dawsen Loafman combined for the finish.

The Big Blue also earned a 5th-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay, where Dawsen Loafman, Jacob Bloom, Msanaa Bosland, and Gavin Dobson posted a time of 3:42.97.

Individually, Ridge Batchelor finished 15th in 2:11.06 in the 200-yard IM, while Jacob Bloom placed 16th with a time of 2:12.21

Millikin Men's Swimming continued competition on day two of the CCIW Championships, adding strong individual finishes in the pool. 

Alexander Tabuchi placed 11th in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:47.17. Ridge Batchelor finished 16th in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:06.50. 

Dawsen Loafman led the Big Blue with a 9th-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke, touching the wall in 53.90. 

Millikin closed out the final day of the CCIW Championships with solid performances and recognition on the men's side.

In individual competition, Msanaa Bosland placed 16th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.40.

The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Gavin Dobson, Ridge Batchelor, Dawsen Loafman, and Msanaa Boslanddelivered a strong finish, placing 5th with a time of 3:22.28.

Jacob Bloom was honored with the CCIW Men's Swimming & Diving RESPECT Award, recognizing his sportsmanship and leadership throughout the meet.
