The Women's Indoor Track & Field team competed at the IWU Keck DIII Select today starting at 10:45 a.m.
In the one-mile run, Brooklynn Sweikar earned a 4th-place finish with a time of 5:13.50, while Teyla Wendt followed with a 14th-place showing in 5:32.66.
In the high jump, Hannah Sago secured a podium finish, placing 3rd with a clearance of 1.55m. Taylor Beiler added with a 15th-place mark of 1.40m.
On the track, Alayna Schultz placed inside the top 20 in the 400m, crossing the line in 1:03.27.
In the 800m, Lindsay Klaus recorded a 13th-place finish with a time of 2:22.31.
In field action, Alexa Weter finished 11th in the pole vault with a mark of 3.35m, followed closely by Hailey Newill, who cleared 3.20m.
The 4x400m relay team of Alayna Schultz, Kiley Coker, Brooklynn Sweikar, and Lydia Trump closed out the meet with a strong 5th-place finish, posting a time of 4:11.18.
Next up on Feb. 20th the Big Blue will compete at the IWU Friday Night Tri at 4:30 p.m.
