In the second Jimmy Johns Invite game of the day for the Big Blue they took on Knox College. Millikin won 12-0 in another seven-inning game today.  

Runs started flowing in the third inning, to get it started Pete Britton singled and Sam Bushur walked. Then Carder Reich singled to center field to move Bushur over and score Britton. Easton Steck then came up to hit a three-run home run to the left side to get the score board started, 3-0. 

In the 4th, Millikin's bats were hot as they scored 6 runs. Julian Cabanin started it off by increasing the score by one from a crushed left side homerun. Pete Britton doubled through the right side to score Leyton Ivers. Ty Cribbett singled to get on base for Reich to single through the left side to score him. Steck did it again with another left side homerun which plated Reich.  

Millikin sealed the deal in the 5th getting two more runs as Pete Britton scored Cabanin off a double and Ivers scored from a grounder.  

Brayden Saling started on the mound for the Big Blue and finished it, pitching seven innings having seven hits and six strikeouts.  

Easton Steck is the offensive leader of the game going 2-3 with two homeruns and five rbis.  

The Big Blue will continue their weekend tomorrow playing Lawrence University in round two at 10 a.m.
