Box Score Bloomington, IL – After heavy rain would force the match to be moved inside and start four hours later than intended, the Millikin Big Blue and the Illinois Wesleyan Titans would begin play at 8:00 pm on Wednesday night. Millikin would lose their third straight match to the Titans by a score of, 7-0. With the loss Millikin falls to 3-5 (0-3 CCIW) while Illinois Wesleyan improves to 2-2 (1-1 CCIW)
 
The Titans would take the doubles point, 2-1. The No.1 pairing of Rachel Combs and Braxtyn Madison fell, 6-2, in the No.1 doubles. No.2 doubles saw Addi Ross and Sarah Parson lose, 6-2. Maria Katalina Gomez Jerez and Bella Griffiths would strike back for the Big Blue with a, 7-5, victory in No.3 doubles.
 
In singles play, Rachel Combs fell to Amber Ehrlich in the third set of No.1 singles, 1-6, 6-3, 1-0 (7-6). In No.2 singles, Bella Griffiths was defeated 6-2, 6-0. Maria Katalina Gomez Jerez lost 6-3, 6-0 in No.3 singles. At No. 4, Addi Ross would lose 7-5, 6-2. Braxtyn Madison would get the call in No. 5 singles, Madison would take the first set, before Oliva Bell would rally back in the end, 7-5, 6-7. 0-1 (8-10). Sarah Parsons would be handed defeat at No.6 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
 
Millikin will look to find their first conference victory as the Big Blue are back in action on Saturday, Sept 19, as they travel to Wheaton College (IL).
