Big Blue Men’s Tennis Season Ends

          The Millikin men's tennis team was eliminated from the CCIW Tournament by North Central College 5-4 on May 1 at the Smeds Tennis Center at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
          The Big Blue lost the close battle with the Cardinals for the right to advance out the playback round of the conference tournament.
Millikin won two doubles matches with Connor Sacks and Noah Klumpe winning
at number one doubles in a tiebreaker 9-8 (7-4) over the Cardinals Oliver Moews\Aleksandar Vasic.  The Big Blue's number two doubles team of Emerick Fulton and Jimmy Page won 8-5 over Connor Sass and Ryan Doeckel.
          Sacks and Klumpe picked up singles match wins for Millikin.  Sacks defeated Mowes at number one singles 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 while Klumpe won at number three singles 6-3, 5-7, 6-0 over Vasic.
          In only its second year of action since return competition, Millikin finished the year 9-11.  The Big Blue were 9-9 during the regular season.
