Brownsburg, IN – Millikin men's tennis players Colin Klein, Nicolas Siqueira, and Blake Robertson represented the Big Blue on Friday at the ITA Central Regional Championship in Brownsburg, Indiana.

Colin Klein and Nicolas Siqueira opened the day for Millikin in doubles play, defeated Illinois Wesleyan's Tommy Sopko and Weston Lange, 8-3, in the round of 64. The Big Blue duo continued their strong play in the round of 32, earning another victory over Jerry Han and Avi Mahajan of Washington University in St. Louis. Klein and Siqueira advanced to the round of 16, where they will face Rowan Matorin and Leon Chen of Case Western Reserve at 9 a.m. ET on Oct. 3.  

Klein also competed in the Flight A singles draw, opening the tournament with dominant 6-0, 6-2 victory over Rodrigo Cunha of Lake Forest College. Klein advanced to the round of 32, where he was defeated by Maximo Llamas of Kenyon College, 6-3, 6-3.

Due to weather, the B and C Flight singles draws were pushed to Saturday morning, preventing Robertson from taking the court on Friday.

The Big Blue will return to action Saturday morning for Day Two of the ITA Central Regional Championship.
