Millikin Men’s Tennis Opens with Win

The Millikin men's tennis team opened its 2015-16 season with a 7-2 win at Kaskaskia College.
         Millikin won five singles matches led by freshman Emilo Tejada winning at number one singles 7-5, 6-1. Other singles winners included Connor Sacks, Greg Schwoeppe, Jacob Hamilton and Noah Klumpe.
         Emerick Fulton and Tejada won at number two double 8-0 with Schwoeppe and Dane Pierantoni winning at number three doubles 8-1.
        "The men played really well today, said Millikin Head Coach Dustin Forman. "This match gave our freshmen a great opportunity to get some match experience and allowed our returners to see how much they have matured since last year. We suffered a close defeat last year to this team, so it's extra special to have earned the victory today."
