Millikin Women's Soccer Fall 1-0

Box Score      The Millikin women's soccer team opened conference play with a 1-0 loss at North Park University on a rainy night in Chicago on September 28.
 
    The only goal of the game came at the 80:40 mark when the Vikings Isabel Pizano scored a rebound goal.

    The game was an even contest with North Park taking 15 shots and the Big Blue putting up 13.  Millikin had seven shots on goal with North Park goalie Sydney Martinez recording seven saves.

    Millikin's goalkeeper Anna Benvenuto record three saves.

    Millikin is now 4-3-1 over all 0-1 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) play.  North Park improves to 2-4-1, 1-0-1.

    The Big Blue will be back in action on Saturday at 12 p.m. hosting Elmhurst College during Millikin's Homecoming celebration.
