The Millikin men's and women's tennis team battled NCAA Division I opponent Eastern Illinois University on March 1 at the Dodds Tennis Center at the University of Illinois in Champaign, Ill. The Millikin men fell 6-1 while the women lost 7-0.
         In men's action, Millikin freshman Holden Owens picked up the Big Blue's only point at number five singles winning 6-2, 4-6, 10-8.
         Millikin's Jacob Palley was very competitive at number one singles losing to Freddie O'Brien 6-4, 6-4. Colin Sandgren played well at two singles falling to Gage Kingsmith 7-5, 4-6, 10-1.
         Freshman Shelby Jones played a strong match for the Big Blue women at three singles losing 6-2, 6-4.
