Millikin Track and Field Athletes & Team Earn Academic Honors

          DECATUR, Illinois—The Millikin University men's and women's track team and three individual Big Blue athletes were honored for their excellence in all phases of being student-athletes by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on July 16.
          The Millikin men's and women's track teams each received All-Academic Team honors for their academic excellence. All-Academic Teams must have a team grade point average of at least 3.1. The Millikin men's team grade point average was 3.23 with the Big Blue women's team at 3.28.
          Millikin junior Jackson Allen (Decatur, LSA H.S.), sophomore Ben Kuxmann (Bourbonnais, Bradley Bourbonnais) and senior Morgan Powers (Shelbyville, H.S.) were named All-Academic Athletes for having a grade point average of above 3.30 and posting a top 50 individual time or being on a top 35 relay team in NCAA Division III in 2020.
