The Millikin men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Greenville Select on April 11, 2026 in Greenville, Illinois, turning in several strong performances and adding multiple marks to the program's all-time top-10 list.
Millikin recorded two event victories on the track during the meet. Joshua Lachance captured first place in the 5000-meter run with a time of 15:44.99, while Julio Hernandez Lopez earned a win in the 3000-meter steeplechase, finishing in 9:59.03. Hernandez Lopez's performance ranks seventh all-time in Millikin program history.
Emmanuel Nwatu also had a strong showing on the track, placing second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.06 seconds. The mark ranks fifth all-time at Millikin.
In the 1500 meters, the Big Blue added two more marks to the program's all-time list. Brock Richards recorded a time of 4:01.54 to rank ninth in school history, while Joey McGinn's time of 4:01.95 ranks 10th all-time.
On the women's side, Brooklynn Sweikar placed third in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:44.62. Her performance ranks second all-time in program history. Brynn Behrmann also recorded a top-10 mark for the Big Blue, running 19:10.33 in the 5000 meters to rank eighth all-time.
In the field events, Hannah Sago finished second in the high jump with a clearance of 1.53 meters.
Millikin also recorded several top-10 performances in the throws and jumps. In the hammer throw, Joey Huizenga recorded a mark of 48.47 meters, which ranks fourth all-time in program history, while Hunter Danberry's throw of 48.11 meters ranks sixth. Audrey Remole added a top mark in the javelin with a throw of 29.84 meters, ranking sixth all-time at Millikin.
In the pole vault, Alexa Weter cleared 3.35 meters to move into third all-time in program history. Hailey Newill recorded a mark of 3.20 meters to rank fourth, while Kelsie Fuoss' clearance of 3.05 meters ranks eighth all-time.
Ella Neihls also added a top-10 mark in the triple jump with a leap of 10.49 meters, which ranks 10th in Millikin program history.
