Millikin Women's and Men's Track & Field competed Friday at the 2026 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Indoor Track & Field Championships.
On the women's side, Audrey Remote placed 2nd in the high jump with a clearance of 1.49m (4-10.50).
For the men, Matthew Schumacher had a strong day, finishing 2nd in the shot put with a throw of 11.35m (37-3.00) and also taking 2nd in the high jump with a mark of 1.80m (5-10.75).
In the 60m hurdles prelims, Emmanuel Nwatu advanced with a 2nd-place time of 8.43.
Millikin will continue competition tomorrow.
Saturday
In the Mens, Emmanuel Nwatu became the CCIW Champion in the 60 Meter Hurdles with a time of 8.27.
Dylan Ragsdale placed 3rd in pole vault clearing 3.70m (12-5.50).
In the mile, Reece Peters finished 4th in 4:17.28, while Brock Richards placed 7th in 4:23.37.
Emmett Emmons took 8th in the 200m with a time of 22.86.
Joshua Lachance finished 7th in the 3000m, clocking 8:53.81.
In the Womens, Brooklynn Sweikar placed 4th in the mile with a time of 5:15.99.
In pole vault, Hannah Sago and Alexis Wike tied finishing 4th clearing 1.57m (5-1.75).
Kiley Coker earned 7th in the 800m with a time of 2:22.52.
Brynn Behrmann placed 7th in the 3000m with a time of 10:49.08.
