Millikin's Knudsen named CCIW Women's Basketball Player of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Millikin freshman Elyce Knudsen was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.

A native of Philo, Illinois and Tolono Unity High School, Knudsen had 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field, along with five rebounds, three assists and three steals in an 85-60 win over Wheaton on Saturday, January 30. She had 29 points on 11-of-17 shooting, six rebounds, three assists and four steals against the Thunder on Thursday, January 28. In 61 minutes of playing time, Knudsen only had two turnovers.
