Big Blue Cross Country Strong at Dodds Invite

The Milikin men's and women's cross country team turned in strong performances at the Gil Dodds Invite hosted by Wheaton College on September 18 at St. James Farm in Warrenville, Illinois. The Millikin men finished third out of 17 teams while the Big Blue women were eighth out of 13 teams.

The Millikin men had three finishers in the top 30 in the field of 221 runners. Austin Bridgman was 13th in 26:18.4 while Dane Alexander finished in 17th at 26:23.3. Ben Kuxmann finished in 28th at 26:34.2.
Bridgman's 8K time was 13th fastest in school history. Kuxmann's time was 25th best all-time.

The women's field consisted of 187 runners with Millikin's Hailey O'Malley finishing 28th in 24:26.6. Rylee Blake finished 42nd in 24:53.1 followed by Elizabeth Hulick in 43rd at 24:53.3.
