Men's Track Third at Keck Select

The Millikin men's and women's track and field team competed to the Keck DIII Select Invitational hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University at the Shirk Center in Bloomington on February 5. The Millikin men finished in third place and the Big Blue women were seventh.

In the men's competition, the Big Blue took second and third place in the 800 Meters. Ben Kuxmann was second at 1:54.96 followed by Jake Shumaker in 1:56.23. Shumaker's time ranks second on the Millikin Indoor Track Top 10 performance list.

Millikin's Solomon Ware and Serron Pettis tied for second in the High Jump at 1.90 meters. Peter Sailsman was fifth at 1.80 meters.

Nick Fornoff was third in the Long Jump at 5.98 meters and Max Rogers was third in the Triple Jump at 12.58 meters.

Garrett Jones was fourth in the 5000 Meters in 16:52.96 followed by Aidan Schlichting in fifth at 17:08.90.

In the women's competition, Eryn Renison finished in second place in the 400 Meters in 1:00.56.

Itzel Garcia was fifth in the 60 Meters in 8.12 seconds and fifth in the 200 Meters in 26.59 seconds.

The Big Blue were third in the 4x400 Relay with Renison, Hailey Wimberly, Garcia and Katie Risner running legs.
