Millikin's Kuxmann named CCIW Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Millikin's Ben Kuxmann and Wheaton's Isaiah Clausen were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Indoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.

Kuxmann, a senior from Bourbonnais, Illinois and Bradley Bourbonnais High School, placed second in the 800-meter run at Illinois Wesleyan's Keck Invitational. His time of 1:54.96 is currently ranked first in the CCIW and 18th on the NCAA Division III national list.

Clausen, a junior from Lakeville, Minnesota and Minneapolis Southwest High School, won the heptathlon at Carthage's Tadd Metzger Invitational over the weekend. His score of 4,864 is currently ranked first in the CCIW and ninth on the national list. This was a 183-point improvement for Clausen, who also recorded a personal record in five of the seven events.
