The Big Blue competed with a limited squad of seven athletes at the Blue Demon Alumni Invite but still turned in strong performances across multiple events.

In the mile, Joey McGinn (4:21.84) and Matt Gowen (4:22.19) both finished inside the top 25, with Reece Peters close behind in 4:30.41. On the women's side, Brooklyn Sweikar placed 15th in the mile, clocking 5:10.00.

In the 800 meters, Aaron Mohr led the way with a 17th-place finish in 1:56.87, followed by Nolan Bates in 20th at 1:59.62.

Julio Hernandez Lopez added another solid performance for the Big Blue, placing 18th in the 3000 meters with a time of 9:03.30.

Next up the Big Blue will be taking on the IWU Friday Night Tri Feb. 20th.
