Millikin’s Kuxmann Head to NCAA Indoor Track Meet

          DECATUR, Illinois—Millikin University senior track athlete Ben Kuxmann (Bourbonnais, Bradley Bourbonnais H.S.) has been selected to participate in the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships being held March 11-12 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
          Kuxmann will be competing in the 800 Meters. He qualified for the NCAA Championships with the ninth fastest time in the event 1:53.13. Kuxmann established the Millikin school record time winning the 800 Meters at the 2022 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Indoor Track and Field Championships where he was named the Men's Track Athlete of the Meet.
          Kuxmann finished in third place in the 800 Meters at the 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. No indoor championships were held last year.
Athletes with the top 20 times nationally in each event were selected to participate at the NCAA Division III Championships.
