Millikin Track Hosts Tri-Meet

The Millikin men's and women's track team hosted Illinois Wesleyan University and Washington University-St. Louis in a Tri-Meet on April 29 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur. No team scores were kept.

In the women's competition, Katie Abell won the Hammer in 43.27 meters and took first place in the Javelin with a throw of 29.99 meters. Abell took second the Shot Put at 11.00 meters.

Itzel Garcia won the 200 Meters in 26.06 seconds.

In the men's event, Kristian Boado set a new Millikin record winning the Hammer Throw at 52.85 meters (173-04). Boado finished first in the Discus at 43.25 meters.

Peter Sailsman won the Long Jump at 7.02 meters.

Solomon Ware won the 200 Meters in 23.37 seconds.
