Millikin Third at Early Bird Meet

The Millikin cross country team finished in third place in both the men's and women's races at the Lewis University Flyer Early Bird Meet on September 2 in Romeoville, Illinois.

In the men's 6K race the Big Blue finished behind Lewis (NCAA DII) and Olivet Nazarene (NAIA). Millikin had three runners in the top 10 with Austin Bridgman finishing in fourth place in 19:58. Bradyn Olmstead was eighth in 20:08.80 followed by Dane Alexander in ninth in 20:11.60.

The Millikin women finished behind NCAA DII competitors Lewis and Purdue Northwest. Freshman Emma Mallory was Millikin's top finisher in fifth place in 15:42.60. Alyssa Ruiz finished in 10th in 16:12.80 and Quincy Collings was 17th in 16:36.20.
