Millikin Track Sixth at Keck Select

The Millikin men's and women's Indoor track and field teams each finished in sixth place at the Keck DIII Select meet hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University on February 3.

In the men's competition, Millikin freshman Kyle Hensley was second in the Pole Vault at 4.91 meters (16-1.25) breaking his own school record.

Sophomore Dayton Lasack was second in the 400 Meters in 50.18 seconds. Lasack finished fourth in the 60 Meter Hurdles in 8.83 seconds.

Colin Griffin was second in the 200 Meters in 22.59 seconds.

Nolan Bates was third in the 800 Meters in 1:56.08, which is third fastest in school history.

Millikin was third in the 4x400 Relay in 3:21.87 with Lasack, Caleb Bleich, Emmett Emmons and Griffin running legs.

In the women's events, sophomore Hailey Newill set a new school record in the Pole Vault at 3:55 meters (11-7.75) finishing third in the event.

Itzel Garcia was fourth in the 200 Meters in 26.32 seconds.
