Millikin Baseball In First NCAA DIII Regional Rankings

DECATUR, Illinois—The Millikin baseball team is one of seven teams listed for Region VIII in the initial NCAA Division III baseball regional rankings for 2024.

In the first rankings of the season, teams are listed in alphabetic order in each of Division III's 10 regions. Millikin is joined in Region VIII by Aurora University, Benedictine University, Hanover College, Spalding University, Transylvania University and Washington University-St. Louis.

The NCAA's regional rankings are a key component of the in the at-large selection process for the NCAA Division III baseball tournament. The ranks are done by a committee of coaches in each region.

Millikin is currently 21-12 overall and 10-3 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) in a three-way tie for first place. The Big Blue will host Illinois Wesleyan University in a doubleheader on Saturday, April 27 at 12 p.m. at the Workman Family Baseball Field.
