Five Big Blue Baseball Players Earn Academic All-District Honors

DECATUR, Illinois—Millikin junior Sam Bushur (Teutopolis, H.S.), junior Kolby Koslofski (Decatur, Mt. Zion H.S.), senior Liam McGill (Bloomington, H.S.), senior Griffin Neuweg (Rochester, H.S.) and senior Hayden Stork (Danvers, Olympia H.S.) were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Baseball team for NCAA Division III.
 
The 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and the NAIA. Athletes need a grade point average of 3.5 or above and be a key contributor on their team for Academic All-Region consideration.
 
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot with Bushur and McGill among those advancing.
 
Bushur is a Finance major and earned College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) All-Conference First Team honors setting a new Big Blue record for hits in a season with 68. He hit .402 on the season with 43 RBI. Bushur was named All-Region by D3baseball.com.
 
Koslofski is a Finance major who batted .300 on the season starting in 30 games.
 
McGill is a Sport and Recreation Management major. He finished his career with 96 stolen bases a school record he has held since 2023 when he stole a record 43 bases in a season. McGill tied the Millikin record for runs scored in a career at 159. McGill was named to the CCIW All-Conference First Team
 
Neuweg is an Exercise Science major who made 18 appearances including one start for the Big Blue pitching staff posting a 1-0 record.
 
Stork is an Exercise Science major who played in 40 games this season with 37 starts as the Big Blue catcher.
 
The Division III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Academic All-America® programs.
