Millikin Wrestling Downs Titans

The Millikin wrestling team won its first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) dual match 45-3 over Illinois Wesleyan University on November 15 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.

Millikin's Pierson Wilkerson opened the match with an 8-0 major decision at 125 over Dylan McGrew.

With the Big Blue leading 10-3, Millikin's Sabri Sino won by fall at 4:50 at 149 pounds. Chase Mirelez scored five points for Millikin with a 15-0 technical fall victory at 157.

Millikin kept its winning ways going at 165 with a 16-1 technical fall win by Michael Hutchison and an 8-5 decision by David Navarra at 174. Kody Marschner won by Fall at 184 and Mateo Casillas won at 197 in an 11-0 major decision to score the final on mat victories for Millikin.

The Big Blue picked up two wins by forfeit.
