Millikin Track Opens Outdoor Season

The Millikin men's and women's track team opened the 2025 Outdoor season hosting the Big Blue Alumni Invite on a rainy day at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois on March 29. No team scores were reported.

In the women's competition, De'Andranay Chism finished first in two events winning the 100 Meters in 12.05 setting a new school record. Chism was fastest in the 200 Meters in 24.77, which is second in school history.

Zena Roberts won the Long Jump in 5.39 meters (17-8.25). She was third in the 200 Meters in 26.13. Millikin's Hillary Owens was third in the Long Jump at 4.92 meters.

Millikin took the top two spots in the High Jump with Hannah Sago winning at 1.60 meters (5-3.00). Audrey Remole was second at 1.50 meters.

Millikin 4x100 Relay finished in second place in 51.25 second. Alexis Wike, Roberts, Ashlyn Duncan and Mikayla Cowart-Toral.

Maddie Maragni finished second in the 100 Meter Hurdles in 17.37 seconds. Cowart-Toral was third in 19.49 seconds. Maragni was second in the 400 Meter Hurdles in 1:13.77.

Alayna Schultz finished third in the 400 Meters in 1:02.33.

The Big Blue were second in the 4x400 Relay in 4:10.30 with Schultz, Brooklynn Sweikar, Remole and Chism running legs.

Nikkel Johnson was second in the Discus at 34.33 meters (112-07.00)

In the men's events, Millikin's Colin Griffin finished in first in the 100 Meters in 11.00 seconds. He was second in the 200 Meters in 22.01 seconds.

Dayton Lasack won the 400 Meter Hurdles in 56.72 seconds, and he was third in the 110 Meter Hurdles in 15.67 seconds.

The Big Blue's Ibrahim Diakite, Griffin, Emmett and Lasack won the 4x400 Relay in 3:25.52.

Joey McGinn was second in the 1500 Meters in 4:03.09. Matt Gowen was third at 4:06.04.

Emmons finished second in the 400 Meters in 49.86 seconds. Emmons was third in the 200 Meters in 22.51 seconds.

Emerson Thorlton was second in the 5000 Meters in 16:05.17.

Dalton Hoadley was second in the High Jump 1:80 meters (5-10.75).

In the Long Jump, Cole Pemble finished in second at 6.60 meters (21-08.00) followed by Josh Chancellor-Seay was third at 5.50 meters.

Hunter Danberry was second in the Hammer with a throw of 43.73 meters (143-05.00).

Reece Peters was third in the 800 Meters in 1:58.14.
