Millikin Track Wins Three Events and Sets Three School Records at Meet of Champions

The Millikin men's and women's track and field team won three events and set three new Big Blue records at the Augustana College Meet of Champions held on April 17-18 in Rock Island, Illinois. The event included only a partial squad of Big Blue athletes.

In the men's competition, Big Blue sophomore Kyle Hensley won the Pole Vault in 5.18 meters (17.00).

Bradyn Olmstead won the 10,000 Meters breaking his own school record of 31:04.33.

Dayton Lasack finished in third in the 400 Meter Hurdles in school record time of 53.66 seconds and sixth in the 110 Hurdles in 15.58 seconds.

Christian Skaggs finished in fifth in the 800 Meters in 1:55.32.

Ibrahim Diakite finished sixth in the 100 Meters in 10.58 seconds and eighth in the 200 Meter with 21.75 seconds.

Millikin finished third in the 4x400 Relay in a time of 3:20.02 with Diakite, Lasack, Awstace Grauer and Emmett Emmons competing.

In the women's events, first year athlete De'Andranay Chism won the 200 Meters in a school record time of 23.94 seconds.

Zena Roberts finished second in the Long Jump at 5.47 meters (17-11.50).

Millikin was fourth in the 4x400 Relay with a time of 4:09.36. Alayna Schultz, Brooklynn Sweikar, Alexis Wike and Chism ran legs for the Big Blue.
