Four Millikin Swimmers named CSC Academic All-District®

Four Big Blue swimmers were named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team, released this week by CSC.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

For the Big Blue, three women's swimmers fit the criteria with their performances in the pool and in the classroom.

Aly Barnes, a senior education major hailing from Jackson, NJ, wraps up a decorated career as a member of both the swimming and triathlon teams. She boasts a myriad of podium finishes at the CCIW Championships throughout her four-year career, including a third place finish this season in the 100 freestyle, fourth in the 200 freestyle, and fifth in the 50 freestyle.

Kendall Rossignol, a senior psychology major from Simpsonville, SC, was part of four podium relays at the 2025 CCIW Championships, and set a new record along with Barnes on the 800 freestyle relay team that placed sixth with their time of 8:26.33.

The final women's honoree was Grace Meacham, a senior nursing major from Gig Harbor, Wash. Meacham swam legs in two CCIW Championship relays that found themselves on the podium, a member of the 400 yard medley relay team and the 400 yard freestyle medley relay team.

In addition to the trio of senior women's swimmers, Msanaa Bosland was honored for the men's team. Bosland, a junior mathematics & data science major from Nassau, Bahamas, also had a strong showing at the 2025 CCIW Championships, making the podium in five relays for the men with fifth place finishes in the 800 yard freestyle relay and the 400 yard freestyle relay.
