Hensley Sixth at NCAA Outdoor T&F Championships

Millikin sophomore Kyle Hensley finished in sixth place in the Men's Pole Vault at the 2025 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships on May 24 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Hensley was credited with sixth place after clearing 4.95 meters (16-2.75). Hensley was one of four athletes who was eliminated after failing to make the 5.00 progression. Hensley had the fewest overall misses among that group.

This marked Hensley's fourth NCAA Championships. He was the NCAA Champion in the Pole Vault at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships and second at last year's Outdoor meet. Hensley finished in fourth at the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships. This year's performance should give Hensley his fourth All-American honor.

Aiden Anderson of St. Norbert won after clearing 5.15 meters (16-10.75) and edging Tomasso Maiocco of Washington University-St. Louis in a jump-off.
