Men's Golf in Third Heading into Day Two of Dan Salisbury Memorial Classic

The Millikin men's golf team headed down the road for a tournament hosted by the University of Illinois-Springfield in their own backyard at Red Tail Run in Decatur, Ill. With two teams in the field, one Big Blue squad is in third place after the first day of competition.

With a team score of 290 after round one, Millikin was led by Jack Bollinger who shot a 69 . Jake Krstulovich was not far behind with a 71. Luke Butler's 74 and Luke Bradley's 76 rounded out the scoring on day one.The Big Blue finished day one behind two of the NCAA Division II teams, with the host UIS and Quincy tied for first with a day one team score of 286.

On the other Millikin squad, both Martin Ammeux and Dominck Emig posted day-one 75s.

The Big Blue will be back in action at Red Tail Run for day two of the Dan Salisbury Memorial Classic on Tuesday, March 24.
